Taiwan is located in a subtropical area so the humidity is quite high. Temperature in Tamsui is around 30˚C (86˚F) in the summer, and about 10-15˚C (50-59˚F) in the winter. Frequent rain is expected in the winter. There is a variety of clothing and accessory stores located on the popular Ying-chuan Road and near the Tamsui MRT station.
